Situated on the Essex/Suffolk border, I am a private consultant spinal surgeon specialising in treating conditions such as back pain, slipped discs, arm, neck & leg pain, degenerative spinal conditions, fractures & deformity. I operate in the Colchester, Ipswich, Chelmsford and surrounding areas.

My practice is completely dedicated to the treatment of spinal conditions. I work in close association with other specialists including neurosurgeons and deformity spinal surgeons.

I am able to offer a complete diagnostic and treatment service for all types of spinal/back conditions.

My spinal surgery practice includes patients suffering from recent and chronic onset of back pain, leg pain, bulging discs, degenerative spinal conditions, fractures and adult deformity.

I have a particular interest in disc replacement (arthroplasty) including cervical (neck) and lumbar (lower back) spines as well as motion sparing technologies (to avoid spinal fusion).

I offer minimally invasive spine surgery, adult deformity surgery, vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty and treat spinal trauma.

In order to provide a multidisciplinary approach, I work closely with manual therapists including, physiotherapists, osteopaths and chiropractors and meet regularly with pain management doctors and radiologists. I refer directly to both medical and surgical colleagues covering a full spectrum of allied subspecialties including, neurologists, rheumatologists, cardiologists, orthopaedic surgical specialists and bowel and bladder surgeons.
